I bought the shoes primarily for walking. I have found them very comfortable and haven't had any trouble adjusting to them. I also discovered they're great workout shoes at the gym especially if you do a lot of balance exercises. My only complaint is that they don't seem very well made and think I'll be having to purchase another pair in a few months.

These are great trail running shoes for rough terrain. The transition to concrete or road isn't as smooth but the flexibility and grip of the shoe shaved seconds off my time.

Just stepped right into these trail shoes and walked for miles. I am no longer able to run, so do not know if the cushion stands up to heavy impact. But I do walk for miles, and this light, lo-profile shoe is perfect. Wide enough in the front of the shoe to allow my toes to breathe and spread, and narrow enough in the back to not rub. This is the primary reason I buy New Balance, because it has the best fit for my foot, and design-wise just makes sense. And as advertised, these can be worn completely barefoot. No blisters, no pain.

too many pressure points or sore spots. Spent a week wearing them inside the house to break them in, got feet full of pressure sores instead. I really wanted to keep them because they are so light but can't stand the pain so I returned them. I do have very thin and skinny feet with no fat padding. Got a pair of Zoot, so far so good

I bought these shoes last year at expensive running store. I was taking a walking trip in Spain.
They were amazingly comfortable and had good traction. Wide toe box, snug heel and light weight. Seemed like perfect shoe, but they were expensive and I chicken out. Actually turned out to be a good decision because they would not have been good in the mud we encountered, but I couldn't forget these shoes and when I saw them @ Sierra Trading Post and about half the cost of what I paid last year, I couldn't resist. I have worn them on two mountain/desert hikes and love them. I didn't give them 5 stars because I can feel the rocks on the trail so over a long hike they might not be sufficient.
Question
“Do these have good traction on uneven terrain? I crushed my heel 2 years ago and I have limited balance flexibility in my foot. My foot doesn't pivot right to left when walking on uneven terrain. I need a shoe that provides good traction.”

Answer
The drop is 4mm. The Minimus 10 shoe features a 4mm heel-to-toe drop, ideal for those looking to transition to a mid-foot strike, or pursue a more minimal experience with less material between your feet and the ground.|For runners looking to transition to lower stack heights, the Minimus 1010 offers a minimal underfoot feel while providing the protective support of a traditional trail shoe, bringing you from more to minimal with every step.

Question
“Do these run true to size? I know other NB products require that you size up.|Thanks”
