I wanted this to be the perfect shoe, but my arches are quite high and this doesn't provide much support. When I realized that buying arch supports would cost another $15-$25, I decided I just needed to find a better shoe.

I have been searching for a trail running shoe to compete in the Lavaman Triathlon. This is the best fitting shoe I have found so far. Most shoes have a high arch that sits further back and digs into my heal. The real test of course will be running over lava, sand, and trails.

I had some foot issues a few years ago and could not find any "tennis" shoes that felt comfortable. A nurse friend recommended NB. Now I only wear NB shoes. They solved my comfort problem. I prefer the trail shoes, because 1) they are not white, and 2) they have great traction.
