I like the pockets, although they are quite short pockets my iPhone 6S fits decently. They worked well in cooler spring/fall weather. I don't know that they are mid-rise (like it's noted in the product description), because they seem a bit short in the rear to me. I do have a curvy figure and a bigger rear than other women, so these might be perfect rise for women without a larger rear. Overall a good purchase, I just have to wear shirts that cover the waist because they are a bit short in the back for me. I also wish the waist band was a bit thicker, but I also prefer a wide waistband.
