Nikwax Down Wash, New Formula!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Ridge Runner from Montana on Thursday, August 18, 2016I purchased this to clean several down jackets and a marmot sleeping bag, all low on loft. I followed the directions on the bottle, and washed the down bag. I had a large amount of suds which eventually caused the washing machine to default and stop working. I rinsed the bag twice. Not quite the loft I obtained with the older formulation of Nikwax down wash. Spent a week drying and fluffing the bag. I recommend a little less than what the instructions direct when washing a good down garment or sleeping bag.

Everything came out of the dryer clean and fluffy. it didn't take out some of the grease stains on my down jacket which is why I didn't give it a 5 star, but maybe that is because of its nature of being a delicate detergent. I highly recommend this for your down and synthetic insulated items.
