Had previously bought the one with dab-on applicator and it was irritating to use--never worked smoothly. I followed directions & first moistened the shoes with a rag, sprayed 1 coat on . The shoe stayed same as original color once dried.

Applied one coat the night before flying out and didn't have any problems, even in the humid weather. Wore them all day every day. I'm planning on adding another coat once I return home. Very satisfied.

Can has enough for two pair of ankle high boots. Works great !!!!!!. Rain, sleet, snow.....it all sheds off like water on a duck. Easy to follow instructions. Wet the leather, apply the product, dry overnight. You're done. I suggest doing this outside or in the garage on a surface that you DON'T want to be waterproof.

I was disappointed that so much product had leaked out but grateful it was contained. Although this does not indicate whether the product works well, it doesn't say much for the manufacturer's packaging.

I applied liberally to the wet boots (per instructions), even on the tongue and around the lace eyelets and still had 1/2 can left over. Once dry, I held boot under a faucet and the water rolled off like they were rubber. These boots were ankle high. Now I wait for a blizzard to give them the real test behind the snow blower.

Only downside is ease of even application since it's in a non-aerosol pump spray bottle. Got some runs and drips and a cramp in my finger.
