Most Helpful 5-Star Review
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Desert Dweller from Arizona on Wednesday, September 21, 2016I learned about Nikwax Basewash by reading reviews on another website. My Keen Newports began to stink after wearing them a few times. Washing them in Nikwax prevents that from happening. The product itself has a strong floral scent, but it doesn't last long. The good effect seems to be cumulative. The more you wash with it, the longer the Keens smell fresh. I imagine this would have a similar effect on shoes like Keens.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Kellergirl from Texas on Wednesday, September 7, 2016This is the only product I will use to launder my athletic and wicking clothing. It leaves a clean fresh aroma, and seems to remove body odors and oils really well. Four stars because it is expensive. thank heaven for STP.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by runsalot from co on Wednesday, August 31, 2016I really like the way it gets the stink out of synthetics.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by runsalot from co on Wednesday, July 20, 2016Even at the clearance price this works out to be pretty pricey per wash load. There is perhaps only three or four loads per bottle. That being said, it does a great job at getting the stink out of synthetics so nice to have for that reason.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by runsalot from co on Thursday, May 5, 2016This is a good product that effectively gets synthetic layers clean, the most important aspect being removing odor and it seems to do that well.
