“Nothing negative to report. I washed three soft shells (all lined with various thicknesses of fleece & two with hoods so this was a full load) in a top loading washer with Nikwax Tech Wash, pulled the jackets out of the washer, then ran a wash cycle again. When the washer had a few inches of water in the bottom I poured in one whole 10oz. bottle of this waterproofer, finished filling the water and placed the jackets in. Then just ran a full wash, rinse, and spin cycle. I can't imagine any 'funky smell' or 'Elmer's Glue' smell as others reported. My jackets came out looking and smelling great. Best of all, they bead water better than new!”
