I was a little apprehensive about using this product - particularly since I used the washing machine technique to apply it to two of my raincoats. Boy am I glad I did though! My raincoats now once again repel water (although I haven't tried them yet in a drenching rain) and the fabric doesn't look any different than before the water-proofing was applied. Also, my washing machine was not damaged by the product at all.
