No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“I use the rule of ordering a belt by going up two numbers from your waist measure in inches. Ordered two belts size 42. These belts would not even reach the last usable buckle hole on me. I checked and they were labeled as 42. Compared them to two different size 40 old belts I had left over. These were slightly shorter than my old 40 belts. So the Chinese manufacturer must use different inches than I do.”
