“Stretch in thighs not in waist”

“I expected a little more "give" in these. There is some stretch in the thighs and butt, but the waist has no stretch. So I probably need the next size up, but then I think the thighs would be too big. The high waist doesn't bother me too much (probably because I'm a lot older so I remember when this *was* the style). Also, I'm not a fan of having to line dry a pair of casual pants. The fabric is nice and I like the color (dark sage). And they are nice and warm, yet stylish, in cold weather. (No one knows how high your waist is when you have a sweater and a coat on). Bottom line, make sure the fit is right before you commit to these. They seemed OK when I tried them on, but I didn't notice the waist issue until I wore them for a couple of hours.”
