The lining is white (which is fine), and the fabric is soft, quiet, and fluid. The elastic waist is just right: not too tight, not too loose. My usual size fits fine, and I have a thick waist. I'm petite, so the very subtle flounce at the hem hits lower on me than ideal. It's not really necessary, but the skirt can easily be shortened at the waist. I like the fact that the blue color has shades of periwinkle and light violet, so I can wear it topped with pale blue, light blue, violet, or white. My casual linen blazer in medium denim blue is too dark a shade to complement this comfy skirt.
