Nice quality vest. Pretty and soft. For some reason it just didn't flatter me so I sent it back, but someone else might love it.

Very nice vest. But I had to return it because it was too tight in the hips. NOTE, though: I am large in the hips. So, this may well fit women with slender hips. I thought it would fit because an XL is usually roomy enough for me.

I liked it at first but there's something about this vest that makes it look odd. The shoulders are very wide and it would be OK if they were more like a cap sleeve instead of just wide. The armholes are huge without a reason - no way I would want to wear this vest over a bulky sweater - it would make me look like an elephant. The overall look is very boxy - the yarn is thick and knit rather loose - so no warmth there. The idea for this vest was to pretend to be a thick handmade wool knit - but it just doesn't look like it. On the plus side it is long and has pockets - maybe I can somehow make the armholes smaller and figure out what this could be worn with. Would never pay a price STP suggests as a retail price nor even half of that. Even at a fraction that I paid still have doubts if its worth all the trouble if I'm not exactly thrilled with it - as I usually am when receiving something new and pretty.
