It's a modified blouson style, as the picture shows. It's cut generously enough that, unless you are super-tall, you could wear it as a drop-waist style. It's also not chiffon, but a sturdier, yet airy, rayon gauze. But, the description aside, it is a beautiful dress. The color, fabric, style and pattern are superb. This is a perfect summer dress -- you can dress it up or down. It would be great with funky ethnic jewelry and sturdy sandals for sightseeing. It would also be elegant with delicate gemstone pieces and strappy metallic sandals for a romantic evening on the town.
