    There were some complaints that the armholes of this shell are too small, but the shell fits me fine, and I'm wide shouldered with relatively largish upper arms (otherwise slender). I like boxy, loose fitting shells like this one. Fits fine!

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I'm generally either a medium or a small, depending on the manufacturer. Being unfamiliar with this brand, I decided to be conservative and take the medium. What a mistake -- it's huge around the waist, and not remotely figure-skimming or flattering. I didn't send it back, hoping it might shrink in the wash, but after a spin around the washer and dryer it is still...ummmm...huge. I'm guessing that the small would have the same issues, but perhaps be too small around the arms and neck. On the plus side, the linen fabric is nice and not too flimsy. Too bad they got the cut so wrong.

    This shell was quite skimpy in the shoulders (my bra straps showed),with very high and tight armholes. I am nearly 6' tall, so this might not be a problem for the more petite. But I was surprised at this particular style of Nomadic Traders shell, as I own some of the others that are not so strangely cut way up top. The material was good quality, and, if you are tall, it is just long enough to cover the waist. But back it went.
