Nomadic Traders Mandarin Novelty Jacket (For Women)

The green color was the only one available when I ordered this jacket and I was a little wary of the color mix. When the jacket arrived I was really pleasantly surprised! The jacket is funky and artistic. It looks a little like some wild sofa fabric was used to make a jacket, but I get great compliments when I wear it.

Wasn't in love with the design and the inside was a little rough. Mandarin style collar has never been a good look for me-I should have known better-so I did return the jacket.

Attractive jacket suitable for wear with tailored pants.

I think this jacket is amazing. It's comfortable, very unusual in the green pattern, and it goes almost anywhere. I would get another, but my size is gone in the brown. Lots of compliments on this one.

I bought this jacket in a large, but the cut is very full and it felt closer to XL. The medium, however, was just about perfect, though the absence of any kind of bust darting makes this size very snug across a size 14 chest. The Renaissance Pesto is a beautiful colour and design, with the background a lush olive-green (very like the sauce of the same name) with espresso-brown florentine-style figuring. The cut is very simple with no shaping, giving the jacket a loose and rather boxy feel, but the armholes are well-set and comfortable and the overall sizing is, as noted, generous. The jacket is unlined and runs just a little shorter than I would have liked, but there is a wide self-facing at the front edges and the hem is a generous 1.5 inches so in theory you could re-tailor it a little. Get it for the lovely fabric - I worried that I'd feel a little "upholstered", but it's very soft and easy to wear.

Fabric is very nice, but a little heavy, and as a result the jacket is boxy and a bit shapeless. Did nothing for me.

This jacket feels wonderful and looks great. I have gotten many compliments every time I've worn it. I'd buy it in more colors if I could (I have the brown and it is yummy)
