“smaller than expected, but nice”

“As the XL is listed at 18-20 for this skirt, I expected it to be a good fit for me (I wear size 18 pants, 20s are typically baggy). However, it's very tight across the hips and tends to ride up because of this. Nicely made, attractive cut (the flare at the bottom is nice), and a pretty color (cayenne), but I would steer clear if you're not on the thinner side of 18. It's definitely no 20. Also, I'm 5'2" and it's ankle-length on me, I think the flare would look weird on a taller person, where it would fall just below the knee. I bought this (along with the matching shirt and jacket) as someone who never dresses up, to dress up for a function, and I think it will fit the bill nicely -- really nice looking without being dressy.”
