    Ladies, these are nice linen pants. The fabric is a quality cross-dye. I found them to be huge. I ordered 16, and they fit more like a 20. No worries, I washed them 2 x and dried them to shrink the linen. Then I removed the waist and raised the crotch depth 2 inches. Lo, now they fit perfect. If you are planning to wash them, order 1-2 sizes down! They are really long in the rise. If you're not a sewer, then forget them, or have them altered.

    The pants are flattering and comfortable. The color is gorgeous. They can be worn casually or dressed up for a more sophisticated look. Since they are linen they do wrinkle but seem to hold their shape better than most of the other linen pieces I have.

    Having read other reviews, I was pleased to find the fit very flattering and true to size in the waist, hips, rise and length. I usually wear an 8 or 10 pant and the fit of the medium was really nice on me...except that the legs are so wide, the net effect is that they look like clown pants. As another reviewer noted, the fabric (I have the cayenne color) is beautiful. Since I sew a little, I played around with them in front of the mirror trying to see if I'd be able to take some of the width out of them, but I'm not sure enough I could do it without ruining the drape, so I'm unfortunately sending them back. With all the disparity in the reviews of this item, I'm now wondering if there's a lot of variability in the manufacture? Since I'm the only one who has commented on the wide legs, I'd recommend at least trying them on.

    Nice linen pants. The waist band is nothing special - elastic with a button, but I would wear this with a loose linen shirt over it, so it won't matter. Good color.
