Reviewed by Sue K from Cleveland, OH on Thursday, June 7, 2012This skirt looks better in person. No slip needed because of the underskirt. It has a nice shape and does not actually have that bunchy cargo-pocket effect shown in the photo. One feature that was especially nice for me is the length. I am 5'3" and a lot of skirts now hit me below the ankle [*]. I think if I were taller the elastic-assisted pleat would hit at just above the mid-thigh and look kind of weird. For me it's just where it should. I washed it and it came out fine. You will have to iron it if you don't want to look like ready-roll. I am looking forward to this being a summer wardrobe staple.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Dr. Liz from St. Louis, MO on Thursday, March 8, 2012I ended up sending this back because I looked like a moose in it. I'm tall and in the 'not fat but could stand to loose a few' category, and I looked absolutely huge. It's shaped rather than loose, but shaped so that hips look bigger than they are (unless you have super big hips I suppose, in which case it would accomodate). the color (indigo) was gorgeous, and the fabric a high quality, crisp, cotton weave. It had an interesting cotton knit waistband which was really comfortable. I may try it again if I drop down a few sizes! But for now, no no no.
- Best Uses: Casual, School, Work
- Cons: Runs big, Unflattering
- Pros: Beautiful Color, Nice cotton fabric
