Nordic Gear Sport Hooded Fleece Cape (For Women)

***Good for pregnancy wear in place of coats and jackets***. Better quality than other capes I've bought. Good for chilly indoor use. Movies, spectator events. Hood gives protect for sudden rain. Makes a casual style statement. Original price seems high for garment quality.

i didn't really wear it yet because i got 2 coats the same week and the other is even more for everyday wear (and going places in the car) than this one and it hasn't been THAT cold here yet. but this one would be great for walking to places, because you have more movement, or even to wear over something dressy... when i took it out of the package i couldn't tell if it was blue or purple, but it's sort of inbetween, which is a nice useful color.

An attractive useful cape has good style and is easy to wear. The only thing I did not like is the blanket stitching around the edges. Wish the manufacturer had used something more stylish.

I think that it would have been nice if it was "tacked" (sewed) under the arms so that when it's windy, it does not fly all over the place. It is easily done. I will probably do it myself.

I took a chance and ordered this cape in both the purple (almost a periwinkle) and the red (a good basic rich red). It arrived today and I am THRILLED! I didn't know what to expect from a medium weight fleece, but I am pleased by its weight. Not that it's heavy, but it's more substantial than I dared hope so it should be snug and warm. The fabric feels like quality material. The colors are beautiful, not neon/flashy but just plain gorgeous. The sewing looks durable and well-done. Capes are hard to find, and I've never seen one in warm, machine-washable fleece before. This cape looks much more expensive even than the original manufacturer's price. At STP's price, it's a steal!

This was not exactly what I expected but I did keep it. I thought it would be more like a blanket but it turned out to be a bit lightweight and flimsy. I kept it but there is something a bit unusual about it. If you like unusual then this is for you.
