If you are thinking of getting these skis for any other purpose than to have them with you on deep powder days, forget about it. But if you want a pure powder ski that will perform beautifully in the conditions they were made for you are in the right place. This is a killer powder ski - but it does like to be driven hard. Weight forward powder skiing in these skis is a dream. The rocker allows you to plow through changing conditions (saw deep into windblown, and back) effortlessly. When you get them in their zone they make you feel invincible - like you could spin in circles if you really wanted to.
Great deal on sierra. I live in CO and had them the next day with regular UPS shipping.....

So I bought a set of these last summer and spent about 40 days on the slopes with them this winter including ski instruction. These skis perform AWESOME and floats thru the best powder out there, but when it came to groomed runs, I wished I had a ski that was not so wide. Great response, and super edges, but just too wide for most typical conditions. The few times I felt this ski really shined was in 6 or more inches of fluffy powder - the lighter the snow the better!
