Reviewed by BMW from Ohio on Tuesday, January 7, 2014Super easy to put on relative to my 13 year old four buckle advanced stiff flex boots. Fantastic sale price relative to the high end quality. The Transfire model line is just one step down from Nordica's Pro Boot line. The R1 is the stiffest flex with R4 the softest. New three buckle...new shell design...with a 102/103cm forefoot box is so much more comfortable for me then my 13 year old advanced stiff 100cm forefoot box boots. The new 45 degree master angle buckle is better heal locking tech (and comfort). And for me the pressure on my leg shins during flex is far more even than with my old four buckle which makes it far more comfortable on my shins. Make sure you know your ski boot size, forefoot box wide and best flex needs before buying any boots online. Many excellent videos on Youtube.com helped educate me on the features of this boot.
Reviewed by Cody Rayl from Boise Idaho on Friday, December 13, 2013Wore these boots for the first time up at Sun Valley last weekend. Right out of the box they are incredibly comfortable and supportive! Did 20k vert the first day on them and had no hot spots or sore spots on my feet! Haven't heat molded the liners yet, but I can imagine they are going to be that much more comfy after I do. I am an advanced/expert skier, and the support/flex on these boots is perfect for hard charging on the mountain! The only complaint is the weird tongue system when you are putting them on. You have to fidget with it a bit to get the tongue back in place. Well worth the extra 15 seconds for such a solid boot!
