Bought these to replace another pair I bought 8 years ago. Those gloves proved themselves through my house painting and landscaping jobs. Also bought Nikwax glove proof this time to waterproof them both - something I didn't do with the 1st pair. Fit nicely and are very warm. Never got hard or lost their shape after getting wet.

Just like non-insulated gloves; they are good quality and while likely last a long time. Seem small, at first, but just need to be worn to stretch and accommodate for insulation.

These gloves are nicely made from good looking leather but they are not sized correctly. I ordered a men's large (actually 2 prs) and they are much too small for a man with a "men's large" sized hand.

As the headline says, these gloves appear to be fine for the purpose (in my case, handling stove wood in cold weather -- stacking, moving from woodpipe into house, etc) but they are the tightest fitting (size Medium) gloves I have ever put on my hands. If I were to order another pair, I would choose size Large.
