I've been using these since June. Replaced a pair of Sidi Dominators with these. Ride at least 40 miles a week x-country. They fit great. Are comfortable and breath well. I was concerned about the closure system but after 6 months no problems and they are more adjustable than the Sidi ratchet-type system. Would highly recommend.

This is a decent shoe for the money. However, there are many shoes in this price range that are at least as good. They are well ventilated, so they work out very well in hot weather. Hopefully, they hold up as well as my old Shimanos' did.

The closure system failed after one year's use. It is not as reliable as a traditional ratched buckle system. However, this is not a major concern because a traditional buckle can replace the wheel system. The best part of this shoe is the excellent toe protection when ridding among rocks.

I bought this for spin class. I normally used specialized bg pro road shoes. the ratchet system works fine. it needs to be under tension for it to work and to release it the tension must be loosened up before releasing. so on bike adjustments are capable but not easy like other ratchet style or velcro closures. but the sole is stiff enough for me.
