I ordered these in blue plaid and red stripe, size Large (12-14). They are big enough to wear over my bathing suit when I'm at the lake and they're thin enough to dry super fast. Didn't shrink much at all. I'm 5'7", 125 lbs.

I read some reviews that said they tended to run small, so I ordered a large. I wanted them to sleep in. Well, they are huge but for sleeping they will do. i dried them to see if they would shrink which I think they did but they are very wrinkled and will need to be ironed-not what I want to do with sleepwear. Now that I have dried them once, I will hang them to dry and see what happens.

I bought 2 pairs of these shorts last year, and I really loved them so I recently ordered more. I was not happy with the new round of shorts; they are not the same. Like some reviewers have mentioned...the new one's are very cheap and flimsy. They are 1 step above "gauze" material with very loose stitching that looks like it will quickly fall apart. I am very disappointed that they are of such poor quality especially because I only ordered more based on knowing the product. It wasn't a sure thing, it was a bait & switch thing. I will be returning them, but all of the sudden STP started charging for what was free return/exchange shipping. This kind of policy change with this kind of unreliable product quality/consistency has forced me to re-think buying from STP much at all in the future.

I own many pairs of these shorts. I think they run true to size. They are short, loose and lightweight. I am 5'2", 110 pounds but I order size large because I like the loose fit. I think a small would fit just fine, though. Don't expect the color to match the photo. It seems to be a suggestion rather than an exact description. All the colors I own are nice, just usually not what is represented. The fabric style varies, as well. Some are thinner than others. I don't machine dry them since they are so thin they dry quickly when hung to dry. Since I am over age 50, I don't wear them out and around but I think younger people could do so. Great as a swimsuit coverup.

I bought three pairs of these as they are made with a soft, very light weight cotton shirting, and are perfect for warm summer nights. The first pair I purchased earlier this year has started to come apart at one of the seams. Luckily I sew, and can repair it. The price was right, as I could not buy fabric to make my own for the price paid, so a quick repair doesn't bother me. I ordered a size larger, then washed and dried them, and yes, they shrank a lot. However ordering a size up allows room for shrinkage, and now mine fit perfectly.
