Live in a place where the wind chill factors push the mercury to 40 below. Sunglasses just can't do it, especially when wearing a neoprene mask; they fog up and the biting cold sneaks under the lenses and freezes your eyes. These goggles were the answer to that dilemma. They are just as great in inclement weather as in calm, bright, clear weather conditions. They fit snugly and are very comfortable around the eyes. They are feather light and do not fog up. They provide great glare protection while allowing a clear, bright view of the terrain. Lenses are beautifully made, and if you store the goggles after each use in the cloth bag they came in, they will last a long long time.

Last year I logged about 30 days on my Colorado Pass (Vail/Beaver Creek/Breck/Keystone/A-Basin) wearing my Oakley A-Frames with Persimmon lenses.
My Oakleys provided excellent visibility and remained comfortable and fog-free through howling January blizzards, sunny April afternoons and everything in between. I ski with a helmet, and the fit is great.
The Persimmon lens color works for just about all light conditions except bright sun - last year I got by without a spare lens for sunny days because, for me, carrying a pair of sunglasses is easier than carrying a spare lens (spare lenses are available in a variety of tints)
My only complaint: the lenses scratch easily and I'm buying a replacement lens this season. I'm hoping that, with the proper care, my new lens will last longer than its predecessor.
