Excellent materials and construction, warm without being bulky. I'm 5'6" and like the length of the body - it comes to just under my bum and I can sit comfortably with it zipped up. The sleeves are a little long, but the cinch is well designed. I'm really digging the 'wrist gaiter' inside the sleeve that seals against wind and cold, especially in conjunction with good gloves. I don't ski or snowboard, but this jacket is an excellent urban commuter jacket for all cold weather conditions. I also wear it for amateur astronomy viewing, which consists of standing relatively still in freezing temperatures for hours - it is an excellent top layer and the abundance of pockets is very useful. The jacket is labeled "loose fit", but it fits pretty much like any insulated jacket you can find at a sporting goods or camping store. I'm not only short, but also lean, and the Airlift looks good on me. NOTE: The jacket I received has a light grey graphic screen printed on the left side of the breast, just above the pocket, that is not apparent in the photos on this site. If you search the web for other images you'll see it. I would have preferred not having the graphic, but I like the jacket enough that I don't mind it so much.

This is a slam-bang-drop-dead-for piece of pleasure and service. Don't forget the smart phone pocket and the finger garters.

Durable exterior fabric, good for hiking. The coat is light weight and well tailored. Fits like it were made for me. Warm, comfortable, flexible moves well and many, many pockets.
