“I bought these as ski pants but so far they've been great for some winter hiking/snowshoeing. With just a baselayer they are very comfortable and ventilate well when I'm hiking up the trail. Tested them on a peak this weekend and they held up well against the wind. I like the velcro at the waist to adjust the fit. They sit at my hip and aren't very bulky.”
