    I bought these as ski pants but so far they've been great for some winter hiking/snowshoeing. With just a baselayer they are very comfortable and ventilate well when I'm hiking up the trail. Tested them on a peak this weekend and they held up well against the wind. I like the velcro at the waist to adjust the fit. They sit at my hip and aren't very bulky.

    I absolutely LOVE the vivid blue color of this pair of ski/snowboarding pants. They paired beautifully with my skis & my primary go-to ski jacket. Unfortunately, I found my normal to be too big (even with a thin layer underneath), so I will be returning this pair of pants. I love the style so much that I'd buy the next size down if Sierra Trading Post gets one in stock. P.S. The style on these pants rock-it's a very hip look.
