Oakley Grapevine Sunglasses (For Women)

I was very disappointed with lack of sun-glare protection. I don't think the gradient system works well for outdoor activities. The look and fit were nice, but definitely not useful for sports. If you want to look pretty on an outing, then go for it. But if you are wanting performance, these are not what you want.

I love the style of the shades. I received many compliments on them and other people have actually went out and bought the same pair. The only thing is they get a bit heavy on the ears after wearing for a while. Otherwise, it was a great buy for the money. The price in local stores in my area rang from $130-$160.

This was a great deal for these glasses, however next time I'll hold out for darker lenses that are polarized (being light sensitive the gradient tint is just not enough), but again, still a bargain.

The lenses were pretty much see-through in the black gradient glasses. They look ridiculous with oversized bug-frames and see-through lenses. They looked almost like reading glasses. They have little to no sun protection, and the frames had scratches on them when they came in the mail. I don't really care about that, but you can tell the plastic is too soft and will scratch easily. They also are angled funny so that the frames rest on your cheeks, and they don't come anywhere close to your face at the top, allowing direct sunlight to hit your eyes. The frames are a nice shape, but I think a Neanderthal would have to wear them to get decent sun protection.

I bought these Oakley glasses for my mom. I had already purchased these in Black for my girlfriend. She loved them so much, I got my mom a pair. These are made to fit a smaller head - it's a true womens line from Oakley. I would add that you do get a amazing case with these glasses. It's a Oakley HARD CASE for the ladies. That way they're not floating around the purse unprotected! Brilliant!

I bought these glasses to wear on our roadtrip out West next year. I love the way they fit and look! I also love that they are made in the USA. They come with a really nice cleaner/pouch cloth and case.
