I have four children. I lent my previous pair of Oakleys (which I guarded for years to keep them "like new") to my third kid who had just had his eyes dialated. We were in my youngest child's car at the time. My third left them in the seat of the youngest's car "by mistake". When I went to retri... Read More

I could tell from the photograph that these were definitely more "stylish" than my normal preference. But the price was very reasonable and I've very much like Oakleys that I've owned in the past. Anyway, when they arrived they looked like a smaller version of another pair of Oakleys that my wife had ordered.

I wasn't sure if I was just being paranoid, so I let a friend have his wife try them on. She absolutely loved them so although I'm not returning them, I'm not going to be the one wearing them...

We were in my youngest child's car at the time. My third left them in the seat of the youngest's car "by mistake". When I went to retrieve them, they were gone. Vanished. I kept hoping they would turn up but, sadly, no. They were a style that could not be replaced. I searched and searched for a new pair of Oakleys to take their place. I am extremely selective..."picky". You provided the perfect replacement at a price I could afford.
    Happy, happy...joy, joy! Thanks.

I work outside quite a bit and travel all over the world so I needed something durable, comfortable and which did not change the color of the object I looked at. The glasses have a metal hinge and are made of a fairly thick plastic. This makes them a bit heavy compared to something like the Maui Jims I own. The glasses also are large enough to accommodate my large head.

At the price point they're a stylish, durable, comfortable, and realtively cheap good pair of glasses that I would recommend to anyone looking for those features.

About Oakley

Jim Jannard founded Oakley with a $300 budget and the belief that “everything in the world can and will be made better.” In the nearly 40 years since the company introduced a groundbreaking motorcycle handgrip, the brand has evolved into a cutting-edge optics designer bent on challenging conventional ideas and has reinvented the way we see sunglasses. Oakley sunglasses first grabbed the world’s attention with the release of Eyeshades® and the company hasn’t looked back. With the guiding principal that Oakley products are “inventions wrapped in art,” the brand has since expanded its offerings to include Oakley jackets and ski pants. Today, the brand continues to set a standard for excellence that is embraced by athletes all over the globe.
