Obermeyer Athens Stretch Ski Pants - Waterproof Soft Shell (For Women)

I love the pants, but took advice of other viewers and ordered a size larger than I normally wear, i'm usually a 4-6 but ordered an 8- they fit good. I'm planning on using them for cross country sking-they fit snug in the waist so I'm hoping they wont slide down while sking.

Tought I'd order larger size for layering. Might have worked but length was REALLY long! Otherwise, it looks like a great pair of ski pants! Alas, had to return.

I have been looking for a pair of stylish, comfortable and practical ski pants for a LONG time and I finallly found them. These are the bomb!

I use these snow pants to cross country ski. They are so comfy I don't even know I have snow pants on, they aren't bulky or heavy and move freely with me. I absolutely love them.

These have been perfect at Snowbird where we have been skiing over Presidents' Week. The fit is snug, but stretches so it is quite comfortable. I am 5'4" and got an 8 short, which is a size larger than I usually wear.

These ski pants are well made and very comfortable with a Velcro waist that can be cinched tighter if needed. They have a comfortable waist and are very stylish. I usually wear a size 4 and after reading the reviews decided to try both a size 6 and size 8. I am keeping the size 8. The size 6 was just too tight in the waist although the length was fine. Before deciding to keep these pants I went to a ski store and tried on several upscale brands of ski pants. These fit the best. Although I have not skied in these pants yet, they appear that with or without a pair of long underwear they will be a great pair of ski pants and should keep me warm.

Like other reviewers, I bought a size up and definitely was glad I did.I used these on my first trip skiing this year. I used to have insulated Columbia ski pants and these were much more stylish and functional. They weren't quite as warm as the columbia ski pants, but I was in single digit temperatures. I even bought a matching ski coat after buying these pants!

These are really comfortable and very flattering. I suspect they may run small for others; I am comfy in the 8, but I'm 5'3" and weigh 100 pounds. These are beautifully constructed pants and I look forward to trying them out in Austria this spring.

I usually wear a 2-4 and a 6 was still unable to even button at the waist- this has never happened with other gear like this- the fit is very poor and disproportionate
