This coat is extremely comfortable and appears to be pretty cozy as well. Haven't gotten a chance to try it out in the snow yet but I was nice and toasty after only wearing it for only a minute indoors. I like that this coat hits below the hips (especially for a ski coat) since it helps with the warmth. I ordered a size 12 (Large in standard women's wear) so I could still have a bit of layering room. It's roomy without being too poofy. For reference I'm ~137 lbs and 5'8". I would highly recommend this coat.

I received this jacket, and while it is spring in FL so I haven't had an opportunity to need it yet, it is really beautiful. I've tried it on and it feels like it will be quite warm on the slopes next season. I was very happy with the fit. I usually wear a 4 or 6 and ordered the 6 to be safe. It fits nicely without being bulky. The colors were hard to distinguish online but it is teal blue and white and goes nicely with my ski pants.

I struggle with jackets because I have a larger bust and wider rib structure - often in order to fit that area, I have to buy something that is too big through the waist and hips, which causes cold air to sneak in from the bottom. Not an issue with this jacket. I have a comfortable amount of room for my chest and full arm movement as well (another area that is often cut too slim for me) but no cold air leaking in! It keeps me warm without making me hot, and the finish on the jacket is very soft, making it comfortable and quieter than any other jacket I have owned. The thumbholes/gators are nice for keeping my wrists warm too! I would buy this jacket over and over again!

About Obermeyer

When Klaus Obermeyer became one of Aspen’s first ski school instructors more than 60 years ago, he had no idea that his lifelong passion would eventually lead him to start an outdoor apparel company. Among Klaus’s first innovations was a down ski jacket he created at home using recycled goose down from an old comforter. Designed and tested on snow-covered slopes in the Colorado Rockies, Obermeyer ski jackets would soon gain a reputation for offering superior weather protection, warmth and style. Although Obermeyer ski pants and jackets have come a long way in the last half a century, the tradition of making top-notch outerwear for skiers and riders remains the foundation of this brand, which is still headquartered in Aspen to this day.
