Verified Buyer Reviewed by wildweasel from swampy south on Monday, December 22, 2014Beautiful well made. The neck opening is very large, though, so if you wear scarves, plenty of room! I didn't like the large neck opening, but if it had a 2 way zip, I would have kept it probably.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Reina from Seattle area on Friday, November 21, 2014I really like this jacket. I fight the puff around my middle, so the last thing I want is a puffy jacket! This has a flattering style and is warm. It hasn't been rainy since it arrived, but the hood will be perfect when it starts up again in full Seattle style! I'm not one to drag around a purse with me everywhere I go , so the inside pockets are great, there is one to slide my cellphone into and another that zips for ID, cash etc. The outside pockets are high, but I don't usually walk around with my hands in my pockets, so I use them to stash my gloves. I really liked the green color, but it was only available in an 8 which just fit, I went with the 10 to have room to layer. I wear it to walk the dog, football games, hiking and run errands. (Another nice feature are the pit zips!) I'm not too crazy about the embellishments (some rivets and a heart thing on the side of one cuff), but obviously they are not a deal breaker for me especially after the great price I paid.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Mrs. Paco from Morrison on Tuesday, November 18, 2014Great fit! The only reason I do not give it five stars is because it does not have a powder skirt to keep out the snow when skiing.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Jenny, who loves to be warm from North Florida on Wednesday, November 5, 2014I buy Obermeyer jackets because I love their detailing and quality. I bought one at a thrift shop 13 years ago and am still using it with abandon. So I specifically looked at Obermeyer when I decided I needed a more presentable jacket. This one has a nice slim fit and I like the dark teal color (emerald). It looks great. Fits nicely. I am an adult medium and can often wear a size 8, but in this jacket I wear a 10. I think it's pretty true to their size chart. The hood is gigantic, but I have a large head and would rather it fit than not! It's removable (the hood, not my head!). I showed it to my sister and she raved over the color. The pockets ARE high, but I can rest my hands in them well enough. One funny thing I noted, it has a chain for hanging it up, and that thing is COLD on my neck when I put the jacket on. I can deal with that. I love the silky interior, slides on nicely. I highly recommend this jacket.
