These pants are great for the winter bicycle commuting as well as learning how to ski. It is a bit bulky, so probably not for competitive folks. I am short (5'), so the inseam is long for me.     These pants run extremely large. I wear a 10 or 12 and the medium was huge. I have to send them back.

    I got these in size large -- and they actually FELL OFF my size 14 body. So [...] I opted to try them in Medium. So small I couldn't even get them up over my legs. [...]Otherwise, they seem like good snow pants, although the legs are very wide and make you look a bit like an elephant.

Bottom line, if you think you are a medium (10) order the small.
