Lightweight, easy to pack, sizing seems correct, large enough to layer underneath, magenta color will make it easy for me to see my daughter in a crowd
Reviewed by Maine Mom from Maine on Wednesday, November 20, 2013This is a very stylish and well-made jacket. It's definitely barely more than a sweater for sure, but if you just want something cute for your girl to wear during "in-between" weather, she'll be looking smashing!
Reviewed by gg from pennsylvania on Tuesday, September 10, 2013That was my grand daughter's remark when opening the package. She kept it on all afternoon. Can't speak to how it will keep her warm this winter; however, it was purchased with the idea of using it as a layer underneath a shell, so we should be okay.
Reviewed by AKGYRL from AK on Tuesday, May 29, 2012I am a fan of obermeyer ski clothing but this jacket fit weird. My daughter is petite so I was thinking the size I got her would be too big but probably OK for next winter. The jacket is well made, lightweight and looks good but the sleeves were very skinny - I had put o a long sleeve shirt under it for sizing purposes for the winter and she said it was too tight and could only wear it with a short sleeve shirt. So, as cute as it is, it defeats the purpose of a new light down jacket to wear in the winter in Alaska so this one is going back.

Question & Answer
“Is this a good jacket for my 5 yr old daughter to use skiing? She will be in ski school but I am worried that it may not be waterproof if it is snowing out or if she falls a lot.”
The jacket is made with a water-resistant Nano Twill shell which should help keep her dry. Obermeyer has been designing ski wear since the 1950s.
“I am 5'3" and "chunky" - 165 lbs. I am short-waisted and my arms are short, so I thought a large girls' might fit better than the women's since my measurements are all wrong - 38 bust, 35 waist, 43 hips. Would this fit me in Large or X-large?”
Being that these are girl sizes I do not believe a Large or Extra large will fit you. Here is a link to Obermeyer's sizing chart. Sorry for the inconvenience.||http://www.obermeyer.com/obermeyer-sizing-and-size-chart.html
“I am wondering about sizing on this product. My daughter is 3 years old and wears a 3t or a 4t. I would like to know what size range the xs is and the size range of the s.|thanks,|Stacey”
If you hover over the "Sizes Available" with your mouse, a tap will appear and provide you with the correct numeric sizing. I hope this helps.
