Obermeyer Mala Jacket (For Women)

I love the jacket. It snowed and temps outside were in 20's and this jacket kept me warm and comfortable. The main purpose of buying it was to wear it when skiing. I have not done so but I think it will be perfect. I love the stylish design, colors (black with cool white star on the back), and the light weight of the jacket. I also like the sleeves inner lining and the fleece lined collar for extra warmth the jacket provides. There are plenty of interior pockets, but the only few exterior pockets. I usually wear a size 8, but bought this in 10 based on the Obermeyer's size chart and it fits perfect and I have some room for additional layers if needed.

The jacket fits nicely and looks good, keeps me warm.

Very nice jacket for the money - but returned it - didn't fill my need for a heavier, extra warm ski jacket...my fault for choosing...

I agree with everyone that the jacket is a little shorter than I would of liked but I still plan on wearing it to ski! I haven't officially tried it for warmth yet but I love how light it is. I also love the goggle wipe that is attached in the pocket. I mainly bought this coat so I could easily be seen on the mountain but I think I'm really going to like it for skiing. I normally wear a size 8 and it seems to fit great, I am a little worried tht my fleece vest won't fit underneath it but I wasnt' sure if a 10 would be too big, so overall I think it should work out just fine. I really like the style and the fleece lined collar!

As far as size 4's go, this size 4 is on the small side, more like a size 2. Quality is fine. The jacket is short and fitted. I'd have to wear a t-shirt under it and then it might be too tight.

I was looking for a new ski jacket. I found that the ones with the vents in the armpits were too bulky under the arms and not comfortable. I read in a review that this jacket didn't have them so I ordered it and it was much more comfortable. It's a bit on the short side but I'm only 5'3" so it's okay although I would have liked it a bit longer. Overall a great jacket for the price.

I purchased this coat for my teenage daughter and she absolutely loves this coat. It is really warm and stylish at the same time. We purchased the green coat and the color is really nice. Such a nice coat, I returned the coat I originally purchased and bought this coat in black.
