I've been looking for a puffer/ski jacket that wouldn't be too bulky and that wouldn't scream "ski jacket." This is perfect. It is flattering and has unique details like the big buttons and different stitching on the shoulders and under the arms that makes it look more like a tailored jacket. Sup... Read More

I bought this to ski in N. Michigan. We haven't made it there yet; however, it is a great coat to wear around town. It doesn't look like a "ski" coat. I have been able to stay warm in 20-30 degree weather and receive tons of compliments on the coat. I normally am a 6 but bought it in an 8,which is perfect for layering

LOVE the color and the fabric is high quality and very soft to the touch. It is a solid, classy jacket and I adore the beautiful, metallic champagne color. After weeks of searching through bright patterned, ugly ski jackets, this was a welcome find. I cannot wait to try it out on the slopes. It works perfectly as a ski jacket, but you could wear it anywhere...it is very stylish and warm!

It is flattering and has unique details like the big buttons and different stitching on the shoulders and under the arms that makes it look more like a tailored jacket. Super-high quality - the hood angles forward to really keep the rain out of your face and there are these stretchy cuffs inside the sleeves at the wrists to keep out cold air and water.
I am usually a size small or 4 in tops, but ordered a 6 because I figured I'd be wearing sweaters under the jacket. Fits very nicely - not too tight, but not shapeless either.

About Obermeyer

When Klaus Obermeyer became one of Aspen’s first ski school instructors more than 60 years ago, he had no idea that his lifelong passion would eventually lead him to start an outdoor apparel company. Among Klaus’s first innovations was a down ski jacket he created at home using recycled goose down from an old comforter. Designed and tested on snow-covered slopes in the Colorado Rockies, Obermeyer ski jackets would soon gain a reputation for offering superior weather protection, warmth and style. Although Obermeyer ski pants and jackets have come a long way in the last half a century, the tradition of making top-notch outerwear for skiers and riders remains the foundation of this brand, which is still headquartered in Aspen to this day.
