Fantastic ski coat! My son is a small size 12 and I attempted to purchase this coat in a 12. It fit more like a small size 10. We ended up going up to a size 16 and we have a great fit. We may even be able to use it next year. Love the quality for the price but be careful to size up!

Bought this and the matching snow pants. My son wore it for a week and the zipper broke. I fixed it and the next week some teeth fell out and zipper wouldn't move (during a 3 day snow storm). I paid a lot of money for poor workmanship. Returning the whole set.

Ordered this coat for my six-year-old. He's not a skier (yet), but I wanted a good quality winter coat for our chilly Montana winters. Since winter is still a bit down the road, he hasn't tested it out yet for warmth, but from what I can tell, it'll work quite well for him. I would recommend this to others. I got the gray one, so it may show dirt more than a darker color would.

Has a snow-skirt and inside cuffed sleeves that meet the shell up by the elbows. My kid is a tall thin 6 year old and the size 6 looks like it might fit him for 1-2 more years.

About Obermeyer

When Klaus Obermeyer became one of Aspen’s first ski school instructors more than 60 years ago, he had no idea that his lifelong passion would eventually lead him to start an outdoor apparel company. Among Klaus’s first innovations was a down ski jacket he created at home using recycled goose down from an old comforter. Designed and tested on snow-covered slopes in the Colorado Rockies, Obermeyer ski jackets would soon gain a reputation for offering superior weather protection, warmth and style. Although Obermeyer ski pants and jackets have come a long way in the last half a century, the tradition of making top-notch outerwear for skiers and riders remains the foundation of this brand, which is still headquartered in Aspen to this day.
