Fabulous if you want a very hot bright pink. Know that it is a more tailored look. I am a size medium and it fits as it should. However, there isn't a lot of room for a sweater if you stick with your normal size. In my opinion though going up would lose the tailored design.

Jacket is perfect otherwise. I wanted a jacket in a 'notice-me' pink and that's what I got. The pink is super bright. The style is flattering and it's warm while at the same time being quite light. My favorite jacket this season. -

BUT ...The numeric size in the description is OFF -- L 14-16, XL 18-20. I relied on it and bought Large, and should have bought XL (usually works for me in most brands). I thought 18-20, as stated for XL, would be too big. I like a little extra room for a sweater, but not in size 18-20. So, when it arrived, I could hardly zip it up! Its a shame, since I liked the jacket and bought it in red and white colors, and had to return both. They got sold out so I couldn't exchange... Probably would be a good idea, if you are not sure what size you need to buy, go with your good instinct, or at at least call customer service to see if they can clarify sizing. Might just save some disappointment..

I am not so sure it will be warm enough if it gets cold because it is only a shell and does not have much too it. The red is a beautiful color, the details are darling. I got a medium 5"3 #135 and it is a little big but I am keeping it so I can wear something under it if it gets cold. The sleeves are a bit long too but I have short arms. Overall it is very flattering and was a really good buy!

Obermeyer Midtown Soft Shell JacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Kathy from NY on Wednesday, July 2, 2014I originally ordered the small in Red which was gorgeous, great detailing, but was snug fitting. I am a size 6-8 and the coat fit snug in the waist, as it is quite fitted. Which is one of the things I liked about it, but I would not have been able to layer a sweater under it. The lining of the attached hood was silver, which I didn't like either. The red is stunning though. I exchanged it for a Medium White and know I will get a lot of use this coming winter. I have already tried it with layers and it looks great. The size difference didn't make much of a difference with the shoulder seams or sleeve length, but it gave it around the chest and waist without making it look oversized. The detailing is extremely nice. I am very pleased with this coat.
