Verified Buyer Reviewed by Artem from Russia on Wednesday, November 12, 2014Nice jacket\, very well made. Growing system is excellent, hope it will long for 2 winters. Size 5R fits nice on my son (he is 110 cm./ 43 in.)
As for warth - I suggest it will be warm enough down to -20C / -4F. The lower temp will require much more layering or high activity. It has room for layering, which is good (it`s not wide, don`t get me wrong, it`s just roomy enough to layer under, which is great)

Reviewed by Ski Mama from Washington on Thursday, August 7, 2014This jacket has great features (the best I've seen from Obermeyer). My son loves the cool design and color, extra big lumbar pocket, the compass, the thumb hole cuffs, and the interior pocket for snacks. I love the extra waterproofing, the removable hood feature to accommodate his helmet, the RECCO rescue system for back country days and the extra reflective trim and piping. The I-Grow system is perfect for extending the coat life an extra year. We bought the coordinating volt bibs. I purchased a size 7 (he is 6 yo, tall and slender) and it is very roomy. It fits fine once adjusted with the interior hem draw cord that is accessed through the pockets. I highly recommend this jacket, it is definitely worth the price.
