I love this jacket. I listened to the other reviewers and sized down to a 6 (I would normally wear an 8) and it's perfect. A previous reviewer said it wasn't flattering but I disagree, it's just not fitted. Haven't tested the waterproofness yet but I feel like I could wear it snowboarding. It's also cute enough to wear around town. The linen color is great, plus how can you not love corduroy? All in all, a cute, warm jacket.

I bought this for an upcoming Alaska Cruise, I wanted something to wear in the rain, and since ths is waterproof and warm without being too bulky, I think it will be just right. It does run a little large.

I think this jacket looks and feels great on. It is a good looking fabric and sturdy and well made by the feel of it. The cut across the body is quite generous so not particularly figure flattering, but very comfortable and warm. I wear it on cold windy days with jeans and it keeps me very warm without having to wear heaps of layers underneath. There are elbow patches which look as though they are not quite in the right position - they are more towards the front inside of the elbows instead of the back for some reason - they are not very noticable though, so this looks ok. The hood seems rather large but I haven't worn it with the hood up yet so can't really report on that part. Overall I wear this jacket all the time and am very happy with it.

I've tried other Obermeyer jackets and found the fit to be quite snug. I like my jackets to have some breathing room so I tend to order up -- not a good idea in this case -- I had to exchange for the size I wear for a button down shirt. I really like this jacket. I think it's pretty cute. The hood is very well cut which is good b/c if you're going to put the hood up then it should do something for you. It does have the logo front and center, right on your forehead, which I dislike. Jacket is a little bulkier than I would like.
