Test wore in my living room. Now I really can't wait until ski season! The pants are very well made, and flattering to a women's build. Layering is a must with these pants. I am a size 8 with Lee/Dockers pants and the size 10 in the ski pants fits perfect for layering. I plan on using a mid-weight underlayer for N.CA/UT/NE skiing. These are the best ski pants I have ever owned. A real steal for the $$$.

Regretfully, I am returning this product because I neglected to notice that it does not have an insulated lining. The product is just an outer shell and while it offers wind protection it does not add that extra goodness of heat retention. The pants are very high quality- strong durable material, big easy glide zippers, comfortable waistbanding in the back- a real primo product .

These pants are so well made with very well thought out features. I especially like the velco closures and zippers. Made undoing the bottom of the pants very easy to open and close when accessing buckles on my ski boots. I was concerned about warm, but unneccessarily...paired these with a pair of silk underwear and boot leg yoga pants and stayed warm and dry on the slopes all day.

I plan to ski in these in PA and CT. They really have a nice fit, not baggy and sit high in the waist. This is better if you want to wear a short jacket and are a woman, not a teenager. Really quality construction.

I like these better than the north face gore-tex for several reasons - first, the fit is more slim, so I don't look like a moving trash bag on the slopes, and second, they seem more comfortable when sitting due to the articulation. They are easy to get on and off over the base layer as the whole side can unzip. No more bunching up of the base layer. The waist is snug and higher, which feels different but actually adds some protection against snow down your pants when you fall, and feels supportive. This is a normal sized pant, not a "vanity" sized pant. If in doubt, go up a size.
