These are exactly what I had been looking for - I have bought and returned and exchanged many pair of snow or soft shell pants and these are super! I need a simple pant that is tough enough to bushwack, that I can stay out for hours, I prefer vented legs, I love that these have velcro on the sides as well as belt loops - they are low cut so they really feel like they'll stay on and they look shockingly good on me - being that they are baggy pants; even my mom said I even look trim in them! I am usually a size 4 in Mountain Hardware and a 6 would have been perfect, but I like extra room for thicker long-johns if necessary, and with the adjustable velcro on the hips, I thought the 8 was perfect. I have worn them every day and they are holding up great to the brush and they are so comfortable that I am tempted to lounge in them ... They do not have any of the bells and whistles like the special inside-out zippers etc ... not highly technical, but good, solid, warm, breathable, comfortable pants!

These pants are for my daughter. We bought big, but they still look great and she is thrilled with them. Perfect for cold weather skiing in Maine.

My old ski pants lost their waterproofing after years of wear. These are warm, good fit, but loose enough for the active skier/snowboarder. I am an average size 10 at 5'6"-these fit perfectly. The waist line is designed to ride slightly above the hips, does not feel too low when crouching.

I was hoping the length would work for me, I'm petite, but it did not. The low rise did not work for me either and legs were big. I ended up returning them and getting some NorthFace Short length insulated pants that fit perfectly, but were double the price!
