The cut of the pants was great for curves and they were well made from good quality fabric. For me, they were way too big. I ordered a 14 and believe a 10 might fit. I have a small waist, larger hips and these would require suspenders to remain in place. I returned for another product in a size 10. Really did like them otherwise.

I love these Obermeyer Sundance snow pants. They are a really cute jean-style pant with rear flap pockets and mid-rise. I got them in a "short" length and at 5'3 they are perfect. My only advice on ordering is sizing seems to run large in the bigger sizes. I originally ordered a 20 based upon the size chart, but the pants were huuuuuge. I could stand in one leg. I returned the item for a pair two sizes smaller and they fit fine. I think the fit/sizing is similar to Old Navy if that helps anyone guage a size. Pants are durable, well made and stylish.
As for Sierra Trading Co, they are awesome! The selection is great, the customer service for my return/exchange was smooth and spot on -- I was anticipating problems because my original order had a 30% discount attached to the size of the order. I was afraid when I returned the pants that my discount would get messed up, but they did the exchange perfectly. I ordered other items (socks, hat, ski top, etc.) and all was packaged nicely and delivered promptly. A++ 5-star rating!

I read all the reviews before ordering this. Based on the Obermeyer size chart and at the suggestion of the reviews I ordered 1 size up. The pants ended up being absolutely ginormously huuuuge! I could almost stand in one leg. I could easily put both arms down inside the pants. I returned them for 2 sizes down. I hope they don't end up being too small. I will update the review after receipt of the new size.
As for styling they are super cute. I love the flap pockets, makes butt look good. I bought them in "Short" length. I am 5'3 1/2 and the length with ski boots is perfect. They are not super insulated so I think these will be spring skiing pants.

The fit is nice. I typically have trouble with the length, but these pants make it to the floor. These pants are a shell, not very insulated, but with a thermal layer underneath, I expect they will suffice.

Jeez…If Obermyer was to design pants for women to look like a grandma pants, they should at least put some insulation in them. We don’t always ski in a slushy condition, you know. Definitely not in a rain either. It’s good to have a waterproof fabric just like any other ski pants, but they should know better to design a tough and insulated ski pants since they’re a company from Aspen, Colorado. These are decent pants, but whoever designed these pants had a very little understanding of Colorado mountains, or maybe only got to ski @ A-Basin in spring because this is what these pants are for. You can’t wear these to ski in winter at all. There are waterproof, but not winter or wind proof at all. They fit true to size, but mannn…, with all that room around your legs making you look like a grandma, it would have been perfect with some insulation. Now, if you want to wear these in winter, you have to find an extra pair of long thermal underwear underneath.

I have no complaints! Sizing was great--it's offered in a Short size, which I would get in jeans if offered, and it was still long enough to fit over my waterproof boots; the waist fit comfortably; the color was a pretty shade of pink; and finally, I couldn't beat the close out sale price! My friend complimented them. Thanks, STP!
