The color is bright, it has wonderful features in it that make it a practical but fun coat!It will be perfect later this winter when it gets really cold..yes it really does get -30 to 40 here!

Reviewed by skiing mom from Fort Collins, CO on Friday, September 28, 2012We haven't had the chance to test this out in fowl weather yet - but it looks very well made and like it will hold up and insulate well. The color is bright and lovely (particularly for my daughter who loves yellow and has a hard time finding coats in yellow!). There are plenty of pockets, the fit is just as expected, and double bonus - thumb holes in the inner cuffs so the sleeves won't ride up when she puts on her mittens/gloves.

However, unlike other Obermeyer kid's jackets, it is a tight fit and after placing warm ski clothing underneath, it fit so tight, my 8-year old could not move her arms readily for skiing. When we tried to order a larger size, they were sold out. We had ordered the size the way we have always ordered in the past, as Obermeyer tends to run big on her and last for a couple of years. But this time, it was already too small. Too bad because she LOVED it!
