I wore through a couple pair of really comfortable Patagonia shoes, and bought these as a replacement. So far really nice. The feel both solid and comfortable. Great tread.

I rarely give 5 stars to any product. There's always something that could be done to make it better. However, taking into account the amazing deal on these shoes, I was pleasantly surprised by their quality. I've only worn these shoes around town, which is what I intended. I have other boots that are dedicated for hitting the trails...but I can definitely say that these light hikers would be up for any day-hike you could throw at them, unless it's pouring rain. The materials on these shoes are top notch and they are very well put together. On top of that, they are very cool looking. Since they are lined with a waterproofing material, they don't tend to make your feet all hot and sweaty. If you are considering these shoes as an "all arounder" for around town and light hiking...don't hesitate to buy them right now. You won't be disappointed!

Very comfortable; I put them on and they felt like I could wear them right out on a hike. I mainly plan to wear them as casual shoes, walking around doing chores, or out in the park for a few miles with my family. They are just a little too big. I usually wear 10.5, but I could wear a 10 in this shoe. I'm wearing thick socks, and I'm thinking of putting in a sports insole.

These were to replace a pair of long-lived 5-10s that I used for light hiking near the fishing area we use in the Blue Ridge, as well as working around the homestead. Comfy right out of the box, good fit, good grip.

Used primarily as an all around durable casual shoe with light hiking. A little stiff out of the box, but very pleased with the shoe it's, looks, and construction.

I have worn these only on day hikes and around town so far, but they feel fantastic. They were comfortable right out of the box and have been great on the cold turf. An excellent low-cut hiking shoe. As such, they are a bit heavy and stiff (they should be) but I have been wearing them around all the time and have found them to be extremely comfortable. The best thing I can say is that I am going to buy a second pair. At STP prices, how can you go wrong!

The first pair was small, I usually wear 10.5 but returned them for 11. After two days of wear my muscles to the outside of my shin and ankle were on fire, kind of like shin splints. I rested them for two days and am wearing again and they feel a little better, so I am hoping to get used to them, but not sure if the design is just bad or I need to strengthn those muscles. SO far I just wear these walking to work and around town.
