I got these for every day wear as winter sneakers. I've put them away until spring/summer mountain hikes because the soles are so rugged! For rocky trails they'll be fantastic. Just don't get them for indoor sneakers because the soles aren't for that purpose. All said, they're good looking, well made and will be great for walking the lake trails. Love the pale yellow and gray color too! They fit true to size on me, maybe just a tad short.

Good shoe for the price. Use them for every other day hikes through bluffs/plains. Just needed better traction so I don't slip on rocks and dirt going up the mountain, and this shoe does the job.

Used on a very strenuous hike that traction was very important. These shoes had good traction, were very comfortable, nice looking shoes and would buy again.

I am happy with the purchase with one exception. The shoes have a kind of strong "rubber" smell. I assume this will subside after several wears.

Shoes arrived on time, but the sizing is definitely off. Size 9 (I wear an 8 1/2 - 9) is too small.
