Officina Del Tempo

I own several watches and needed something that could withstand occasional contact with water (e.g. swimming) and look dressy enough to go out with. This is watch fit the bill. I would characterize this as a fashion watch as it doesn't have a Swiss movement, Scratch-proof sapphire glass, and is not generally the same quality as some other Swiss made watches. This is made in Italy and while there are fantastic brands out of there (e.g. Panerai) this is similar to Technomarine in the type of brand it represents. That said this is a great dressy watch for a fantastic price. I got this for a little over $240 with a 25% discount. For that price, you can overlook all of the little things and enjoy it pride.

The watch itself is nice. Solid, stylish. A bit hard to read up close. However, the band is not leather as described but a very flexible rubber. The flexibility makes it comfortable but I'm a bit concerned about long-term durability. It's possible that the band can be replaced in the future but not sure.

This watch looks beautiful. Very very striking. It arrived with a mechanical malfunction such that the second time-zone hand was difficult to set and lost over 4 hours per 24 hours. Ridiculous. I returned it out of concern that this reflects the overal workmanship of the watch mechanism.
