OGGI Orange Citrus Squeezer - Cast AluminumReviewed by Anonymous from Missouri on Friday, November 4, 2016Oh, I forgot to say that this type of squeezer is painted with powder coat I think, and you have to clean it immediately after every use or it will start to discolor where the acid has an effect on the finish. I always rinsed mine immediately, but the first lime squeezer, which lasted some months, did suffer from the acid somewhat. The finish was still intact when I broke it, but it was beginning to soften.

I have tried to find one of these that I can't snap in two. I broke Aldi's lime squeezer twice, the lemon squeezer once, now I have this one. We'll see if I can learn to not squeeze too hard. I'm also not sure that this style is any better than the "little mountain in a bowl" type. I have one of those in cheap plastic that works very well, but my wrist and elbows get tired of twisting sometimes. If you don't have arthritis, they work better than the squeezers. You are less likely to shoot juice all over the place too.
