The burnout is done in very small patches scattered throughout so it's quite modest, but I'll probably add a cami when wearing this shirt without a jacket. The cut is generous but gives a nice silhouette. Clearly a burnout t-shirt of this light weight is not ideal for cooler weather, but I think it will look great layered with an open-front cardigan. I plan to wear this top with jeans and skirts. I came back and purchased a second one to put up for the day when this one is threadbare.

It's "burnout" pattern, so a bit see through - but in a very flattering way. You don't need a cami or anything under it - just a bra will do. It is very soft and comfortable. LOVE the colors! My only note - I think it runs a tad big (which shocked me - as this brand is notoriously small). I am 5'4" 123 lbs. 32B bra size and I ordered a small - it fits fine, but a little loose in the chest/under arms.
